The use of  EC65 products is becoming mandatory in an ever increasing number of countries, even in countries where EC65 approval is not mandatory it is highly recommended to protect safety. As a result, demand for EC65 approved products continues to grow. To gain EC65 approval a product has to be tested and approved by an independent test and certification body, this must not be confused with a manufacturers own in house testing and claim of compliance.
