As well as being certified to EC65 (Amber Class 1 and Blue Class 2) 3-3541-M Magnetic mount Impact LP beacons have also been independently wind tested to 250km/h. The beacon now features a new enhanced full base protective cover to protect the vehicle paintwork and the magnet. Magnetic mount LP beacons are supplied with a cigar plug lead and adaptor. The adaptor features a single rocker switch as standard for simple on / off switching, a second momentary switch can also be specified to allow the user to change the flash pattern as required.
The Haztec range of LED message signs has been supplemented with an additional 9 character version. This new version allows 9 x 110mm high characters to be displayed without the need for scrolling and is available with a choice of either amber or red LEDs.
The sign is supplied with mounting brackets and is weatherproof, an adjustable control allows the brightness of the message sign to be set at an appropriate level for different conditions.
Simple windows based software is available to allow authorised personnel to create and store custom messages, a range of built in options allows scroll, flash and wipe functions to be easily included.
In addition to standard characters, users can create and use custom bitmap symbols.
Each individual Character or symbol can be up to 110mmH giving an excellent viewing distance.
Once created, up to 100 different messages can be stored in the separate display controller for recall as required. The display controller includes a backlit LCD display allowing the user the scroll through the library of stored messages and activate the chosen one with a push of a button. Once activated the chosen message is shown on the LED sign and also as a confirmation on the handset
The Eurosmart programmable siren, switching and PA system has a modular design that can be configured in many different ways to suit different installation requirements.
This modular design allows components to be mounted together in a single enclosure or distributed around the vehicle to simplify wiring and installation.
New siren controllers have been developed to further increase the choice of installation options and satisfy demand for a system that combines the flexibility of Eurosmart with the simple one box, dash mount installation of traditional siren systems.
The new units have a rotary tone selector and a PA input with volume control.
They also include a horn ring transfer function with slide switch to select sequential tone change on horn operation or timed tone change with auto-revert. Data cable connections are provided at the rear and underneath the controller allowing the unit to be mounted in, on or under the dash.
Both units have a radio re-broadcast function and also have 2 additional pushbuttons.
8-825-11 has two push buttons dedicated to siren functions, one provides an instantaneous air horn tone, the other provides an instantaneous siren tone.
With 8-82511-2 the 2 extra buttons are configured for lighting control, a 4 way master switching unit is included, enabling the switches to control up to 4 x 10A outputs without the need for extra relays etc.
A purpose designed bracket has also been developed to allow the controller and siren to be installed as a single combined dash mount assembly.
At just 79mm tall, the Xpert lightbar can be configured in many different ways with a wide choice of fitted components.
One popular format is the use of a single layer of 9-10406 inner LED modules with 9-10408 corner LED modules. Xpert has already achieved EC65 approval in both blue and amber using just a single row of these modules.
However, for applications that require a performance level beyond the requirements of EC65, 9-10406 & 9-10408 LED modules have been designed to allow 2 rows of modules to be mounted one above the other in Xpert lightbars. This allows either dual colour arrangements or double height, double output single colour formats.
When arranged in a double row format, the rows can be configured to be independently switched or to operate in synchronisation with each other.

9-10406 LED modules are designed for use as inner modules in LED lightbars. They offer a very impressive output using 6 latest generation LEDs and have carefully designed optical components to ensure a powerful and widespread light output. New dual colour versions are now available with a full power, dual colour output saving both cost and space compared to using 2 separate modules.
The new dual colour modules still contain 6 LEDs but split into 2 independently switched groups of 3 LEDs. Separate control wires are provided for each colour section.
Dual colour modules are the same size as single colour versions, so can be mounted alongside single colour modules to provide a continuous run of light.
9-10406 single colour modules are available with blue, amber, red, white or green LEDs, dual colour versions are available with red + blue, blue + white or amber + red LEDs.
